Joy Divison releasing new '+ -' box set

In honour of the 30th anniversary of lead singer Ian Curtis’ death, Joy Division will release a new retrospective box set entitled + – on December 6 in the UK.

Compiled by journalist and author Jon Savage, the box set features 10 7″ singles that have been remastered by Stephen Morris and Frank Arkwright from Metropolis Studios. It will also contain new artwork from Peter Saville, who previously collaborated with the band on their Unknown Pleasures cover as well as other releases.

+ – will contain the singles “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” “Transmission,” as well as others, each with their own sleeve and artwork. The box set will also be released digitally though iTunes. For further details visit the Rhino website.
