This morning's new music news; Mogwai have announced their 2011 North American tour, Arcade Fire are set to make their second appearance on SNL and the lead singer from The Zutons has been sentenced for getting in a fight in Liverpool back in February.

Mogwai have announced they’ll be starting a North American tour in April of next year in support of their forthcoming album Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will. They will be in Montreal on April 25, Toronto a day later and in Vancouver on May 6.

Arcade Fire will make their second appearance on Saturday Night Live on November 13, which will be hosted by Scarlett Johansson. The band last performed on the iconic comedy show back in 2007 with Rainn Wilson hosting. [USA Today]
