This morning's new music news; Black Mountain's upcoming album 'Wilderness Heart' is currently streaming online, Duff McKagan has split with Jane's Addiction after only five months and Weezer's 'Hurley' album is available to listen to via their MySpace.

Black Mountain’s forthcoming album Wilderness Heart is currently streaming in its entirety over at Exclaim!. This is the Vancouver quintet’s third album following 2008’s In the Future and is said to be their “most metal and most folk oriented record so far.” It comes out September 14. [Exclaim!]

Former Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan has split with Jane’s Addiction only five months after joining the band. “We wanted to thank Duff for helping us write songs for our new record,” the band said. “We love the songs we worked on with him — and the gigs were a blast — but musically we were all headed in different directions.” Word is McKagan will be now working on his own material. And Weezer’s new album Hurley is available to listen to on their official MySpace page. The band’s eighth album, the 10-track record comes out next Tuesday. [Prefix]
