Former Kinks lead singer Ray Davies has unveiled details of his forthcoming collaborative album that gives fresh takes on his band’s classic songs.

Due out November 1, the 14-track LP is called See My Friends and features Bruce Springsteen, Billy Corgan, Spoon, Black Francis, Mumford & Sons, Amy Macdonald and Metallica, who join Davies on the Kinks’ 1964 track “You Really Got Me.” Apparently for that recording Davies flew to Oslo, Norway to record with the metal band, who he previously performed with at a gig in New York City last year.
