Weezer campaigns for Arcade Fire's crown at Osheaga

To suggest that Weezer’s headlining set at Osheaga was anything but epic would be criminal. Rivers Cuomo brought out every single rock star trick in his notebook to give the 25,000 person strong audience a night comprobable to the previous evening’s legendary Arcade Fire show. From stage diving to appearing on the second main stage, and then the bleachers, Rivers Cuomo’s absence from Montreal this morning is being missed. It’s hard to describe what happened, because if we told you Rivers actually pushed a bartender out of the way and poured audience members beer in the middle of his set, you might not even believe us.
