Last night’s Arcade Fire show at Madison Square Garden was shot for a live webcast by Terry Gilliam for a new concert series called Unstaged. Videos have emerged of the band’s performances of the tracks “Rococo,” “Ready To Start” and “Empty Room” featuring Owen Pallett, from their latest album The Suburbs.

By all accounts it was an awesome show and since they were in the venue where the New York Knicks play their home games, lead singer Win Butler, a Houston native, decided to have a little fun with the hometown fans. “This is my favorite part of the Garden, right here,” Butler said. “Because it’s right here where Hakeem Olajuwon blocked John Starks’ shot so the Rockets could beat the Knicks in the 1994 finals!” It was the only booing the band heard all night and probably will be for a long time.
