This morning's new music news; No Age will release their third album 'Everything in Between' in September, Beck has revealed he hopes to release some new songs by the end of the summer and R.E.M's latest album is "a return to form" according to The Poises' Ken Stringfellow.

No Age will release their third album called Everything in Between following 2009’s Losing Feeling EP on September 28. The cover art is shown above and according to their label Sub Pop, the album will see the band “expand on the emotional force at the core of their catchy songwriting through tone, structure, noise, and samples.” The first single entitled “Glitter” will drop later this month. In an interview with Pitchfork, Beck revealed he hopes to put some new music out by the end of the summer. “I’m not sure if I’m going to put out 12-inches or put the songs on my website,” he said. “I mean, there’s not anything stopping it [just going on my website]. It’s just getting the right group of songs. I think there’ll be something coming out by the end of summer, even if it’s just a song or two.” [Pitchfork]

And R.E.M.’s as-yet-untitled 15th studio album has been recorded and is expected to be released next year. The Poises’ Ken Stringfellow recently met up with R.E.M’s Mike Mills and listened to some of the new songs saying, “It’s sounding really great, very old school. The first track had vocals which were mixed super low which I couldn’t understand and I was like, ‘Yes a return to form.'” [NME]
