This morning's new music news; Kickball Katy from Vivian Girls and All Saints Day will release solo material under the name La Sera, Warpaint's debut LP will be released on October 26 and L.A. producer Flying Lotus will put out a new EP called 'Patter + Grid World' this September.
Katy Goodman, aka Kickball Katy, from the bands Vivian Girls and All Saints Day has revealed she’ll be releasing some solo work under the name La Sera. A seven-inch single will be released on November 16 with a full-length album expected sometime next year. [Exclaim!]
Warpaint will release their debut LP The Fool on October 26. The 9-track album from the Los Angeles-based quartet was produced by Tom Biller and features mixes by Siouxsie Sioux, Andrew Weatherall, and Adam Samuels. [NME]
And Flying Lotus will put out a new EP entitled Patter + Grid World on September 20. The release follows the Los Angeles producer’s Cosmogramma LP, released earlier this year. One of the tracks off the forthcoming EP called “Camera Day” is streaming below. [Clash Music]
