This morning's new music news; David Bowie and Lady Gaga have not collaborated for her upcoming album, Mogwai's live album 'Special Moves' is currently streaming online and a video preview of a new Belle & Sebastian track called "I Want The World To Stop." has been posted.

Last week we posted about a potential collaboration between David Bowie and Lady Gaga on her upcoming album, however Bowie’s official website has put the rumor to bed. A post on Bowie’s website says, “The suggestion that David Bowie is producing and participating in the production of Lady Gaga’s next album is untrue and a hoax.” [Billboard]

Mogwai’s new live album entitled Special Moves doesn’t come out till next week, but it is currently streaming online over at Exclaim!. The album will be released with a concert film called Burning, which was shot at a 2009 show at Brookyln’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. [Exclaim!]

And Belle & Sebastian have previewed a new song called “I Want The World To Stop” through a video (below) for an upcoming TV show. The track will be on the band’s forthcoming album Belle & Sebastian Write about Love, due out October 12. [NME]
