Said The Whale and friends release "We Are The Music" video

Some of Vancouver’s favorite artists and bands, such as Dan Mangan, Hannah Georgas and Said the Whale among others have rallied behind their hometown station 100.5 The Peak in hopes of bringing attention to their ongoing support for local musicians. A track called “We Are The Music: Musicians For (Spare) Change,” written by Said The Whale has been recorded and the video below of all the performers doing their best “We Are The World” impression has been released.

A message beneath the official video reads, “We hope that you will also reach deep into your hearts, find your inner struggling musician, and join us in this journey towards a world where musicians can live free from the stresses of day jobs, rent payments, and reality in general. There is still hope…”
