This morning's new music news; David Bowie will re-issue his 1976 album 'Station to Station,' DJ Champion has been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called lymphoma and George Michael was arrested in London Sunday night on suspicion of being unfit to drive.

David Bowie will re-issue his 1976 album Station to Station. A 3 CD and deluxe 5 CD edition will be available, which includes a 16-page booklet, postcards and a copy of the previously unreleased performance at Nassau Coliseum. The deluxe version also has vinyl copies of the album and a replica press kit and fanclub folder. It’s set to come out in the UK on September 20. [NME]

DJ Champion revealed yesterday he has been diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. The Juno-nominated DJ has canceled all his scheduled tour dates for this month and August. A post on his official website said, “Maxime Morin would like to thank you for all the warm wishes he received since the announcement of his battle against blood cancer. Courageous and optimistic, Maxime has already started the treatments required to battle this illness. Thank you again for your support, you are amazing fans!” [Exclaim!]

And George Michael was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of being unfit to drive. Police received reports a car had crashed into a North London building and the singer was taken to a police station in the area where he posted bail. [Billboard]
