This morning's new music news; The Gaslight Anthem will play several Canadian cities on the first leg of their upcoming Fall tour, Elton John had to postpone a gig last night because of food poisoning and listen to the new Beck song "Summertime" off the deluxe edition of the 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' soundtrack.

The Gaslight Anthem have announced some Canadian dates for the first leg of their upcoming fall tour in support of their latest album, American Slang. They’ll be playing this year’s Osheaga Festival and will play several other Canadian cities such as Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver in September. [Exclaim!]

Elton John had to cancel a gig in Arizona last night because he suffered food poisoning. Organizers said the show was almost sold out with nearly 8,800 tickets purchased. The concert has been rescheduled for tonight and doctors have assured that the pop singer will be able to perform. [Billboard]

And a new Beck song has emerged that will appear on the deluxe edition of the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. The track is called “Summertime” and you can listen to it below. [Stereogum]
