On Wednesday night the New Pornographers brought their “Canadian indie-rock supergroup” sound to the Late Show with David Letterman and performed the track “Sweet Talk, Sweet Talk” off their latest album Together. For this song frontman Carl Newman shares lead vocals with Kathryn Calder, who recently released a new track entitled “Arrow” off her upcoming solo album Are You My Mother.

Together is the band’s fifth studio album following 2007’s Challengers. No fans were harmed or threatened during the recording of this song. They’ll be touring the new album all summer with two upcoming gigs this month in Vancouver on July 14 and 15 and The Vogue.
