The Death Weather have released a shiny new music video of the band during a live take of the single “Blue Blood Blues” from their latest album Sea of Cowards. There’s nothing quite shiny about the video nor the song as it’s straight guitar blues rock with powering riffs. The video is shot using some intense graphics, which makes the band members look hand drawn complete with the odd ink blot here and there. Jack White again proves his staggering musicianship as he’s behind the kit for this take and performs the vocals duties with ease.

Sea of Cowards is the band’s sophomore album following last year’s Horehound. According to an English newspaper White said, “The album title refers to the way the internet allows people to spit venom and knock people in a cowardly way using fake names. It seems to me that people aren’t teaching this generation anything about responsibility. The internet allows people to make a statement that the whole world can read and listen to-but they’re too much of a coward to leave their actual name.”
