Broken Social Scene perform "Texico Bitches" on Fallon

Those choosing to watch a potential stage dive by Iggy Pop Saturday night at Yonge-Dundas square in Toronto instead of going to the island to see Broken Social Scene and Pavement play may want to watch this performance just to make sure you’re making the right decision. This superb take of the track “Texico Bitches” off their latest album Forgiveness Rock Record might change your mind as Broken Social Scene will not be appearing at North by Northeast, which started Monday.
Forgiveness is the band’s fourth album and was produced by John McEntire instead of David Newfeld, who they had previously worked with. It was released with a bonus 10-song EP called Lo-Fi For the Dividing Nights. After the gig on Toronto Island this weekend, the band will be touring Europe and Asia, but will return in the Fall for shows down south and on the west coast of Canada.
