Canadian psychedelic/early heavy-metal influenced band Black Mountain have released the first single off their upcoming album Wilderness Heart, due out September 14. The cover of the album has also been revealed an features a hungry looking Jaws about to injure some bathers. The heavy guitars and organ on the new track called “Old Fangs” would, like several of their other songs, fit perfectly with Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne, but the male/female combo of Amber Webber and Steve McBean works nicely as well. Download the new track by submitting your email here.
Wilderness Heart will be the band’s third LP following 2008’s Into The Future, what many deem to be their breakout release. The Vancouver-based band will be touring this summer and have Canadian dates scheduled for this month and next.
