Black Mountain debut video for "Old Fangs"

Vancouver’s Black Mountain play a very heavy psychedelic style of rock music with signs of early heavy metal influences, specifically Black Sabbath. Their forthcoming album due out September 14 is called Wilderness Heart and the music video for the record’s first single entitled “Old Fangs” has just been released. In the video directed by Mike Bruce the band take a trippy cruise in their beat up Mustang and encounter a modern day version of the three witches from Shakespears’ Macbeth during a pit stop. Their words, or spells rather remain in the minds of the band throughout the rest of the video and eventually leads them to offering up their souls via a fireside ritual.
Black Mountain are currently touring western Canada and will slowly make their way east before heading overseas. They’ll be playing the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on July 23.
