NXNE Artist Profile 'JEFF The Brotherhood'

The latest album from Jake Orrall and Jamin Orrall, who make up the band JEFF the Brotherhood, titled Heavy Days is now available on CD after being released on vinyl and digital release only. Those not too technology savvy nor eagerly throwback style were relieved the disc came out, especially one that contains the track “The Tropics,” a simple guitar, drums, keyboard number with standout lyrics.

Performing everywhere from clubs to basements, the band have adopted the ‘play anywhere’ attitude and their minimal use of equipment allows them to do so. They’ve shared the stage with Battles, Sonic Youth, Oneida and the late Jay Reatard among others.
