Forget the (hilarious) fake posters and silly rumours for a minute, because Coachella’s finally announced its 2013 line-up and it might be funnier than any joke we could come up with. Okay, maybe it’s not that bad.

Let’s look at some of the top talent, k? Headliners include The Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix (lol what?) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Lou Reed’s there for some reason and Nick Cave takes up double duty, performing with both the Bad Seeds and Grinderman, who were supposed to have been broken up. And like Grinderman, you can bet that they’re still cashing in on reunions.

The Postal Service might be this year’s big get, which says something about a festival that just last year resurrected 2Pac, re-engergized Refused and nabbed what we now know to be a feuding At the Drive-In. The Violent Femmes fill in as that band you didn’t know was getting back together but also as that band you didn’t realize lasted until 2009 somehow. But snark aside, there’s plenty to be excited about on the list: JEFF the Brotherhood, Tame Impala, Wu-Tang Clan, Metric, New Order (sans Peter Hook, though), Japandroids, Trash Talk. You get the point. You might have to squint, but there’s the official poster for Coachella 2013 up top. If that’s too much of a pain in the ass (it might be), head to the festival’s official site to see the full line-up with a bit more clarity.

Also notice the absence of The Rolling Stones. Not that anyone really expected that to happen or anything.
