Black Sabbath’s biggest supporters Black Mountain have announced a short North American tour in support of their forthcoming album tentatively titled Wilderness Heart. The band will kick off the trek in Kamloops on June 23 and will tour Western Canada with shows in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg. They’ll also be playing a show in London, Ontario on July 3. The album is expected later this year. [Exclaim!]

And despite what you might have read, Weezer have not left record label Geffen, rather the band’s contract with the label has expired and they haven’t made any decisions regarding if they’ll resign. Pinkerton, the band’s 1996 album is set to get the royal treatment with a deluxe, extended reissue. No release date has been announced although pre-orders have been taken. [Billboard]
