This morning's new music news; LCD Soundsystem's new album This Is Happening is now streaming on the band's website, Wavves has finished recording a new album and The Drums' full length debut will include "Let's Go Surfing."

The new LCD Soundsystem album called This Is Happening is currently streaming in its entirety on the band’s official website. The disc drops May 18 and the band will spend the next few months touring including Canadian shows in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Check the gigs section of their website for specific show dates. Wavves has finished recording the follow up to last years self titled album according to frontman Nathan Williams’ blog. “SOUNDS CARAAAZAAAAAAYYY AND WILL BE OUT THIS SUMMER, he said.” The band will hit the road this summer for several North American dates, two of which are in Toronto for NXNE on June 18 & 19. And the full length debut album from Brooklyn’s The Drums will include the fan favorite single “Let’s Go Surfing.” Originally the track was left off the record, but the band changed their minds saying it would be “like going to see a band live and them missing out the song that got you into them in the first place.” The album will be released on June 7.  [NME]
