Ozzy Osbourne Biopic In The Works

Sharon Osbourne, wife of the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne has revealed a film will be made about her husband’s life. Although no official release has been announced and no actors have been cast, Sharon said the project is set to go into production while speaking at a Celebrity Apprentice news conference. “We’re going to make a press announcement hopefully within the next two weeks…we have a producer and we have lots of money and we’re all starting,” she said.

A similar project was in the works nearly seven years ago and was given the green light for production however all we got was some reality TV shows featuring different members of the family. In other Ozzy related news, his new album SCREAM will be released on June 15th and an 18-month tour has been planned, but no dates have been announced.

So who should play Ozzy in the biopic? Sharon has shown interest in English actress Carey Mulligan from Academy Award winning movie An Education to play herself and both Ozzy and Sharon admire actor Johnny Depp. Could Depp, who has played the savvy talking Jack Sparrow and the man with scissors for hands pull it off and bite the head off a live chicken?
