Au Revoir Simone Daytrotter Session

Yesterday, Brooklyn’s all female sweet sounding trio Au Revoir Simone stopped by Daytrotter to play songs off their latest album Still Night, Still Life. Though not a very visually stimulating live act, unless you take into account how attractive the three ladies are, the band takes you on epic journey with their songs through the use of keyboards and drum machines. The latest disc is the band’s third album following 2005’s Verses of Comfort, Assurances & Salvation and The Bird of Music, released in 2007.

During the session the band performed the tracks “All or Nothing,” “Shadows,” “Anywhere You Looked” and the softer “Take Me As I Am.” Next month the trio will head over to Europe and tour various cities concluding in Hasselt, Belgium in August.
