While no Velvet Underground reunion is in sight, we may still revel at the experimental projects some members have taken part in, especially Lou Reed. The VU’s principle songwriter has a remastered version of his 1975 noise album Metal Machine Music currently for sale on his website including a 180 Gram Vinyl, Audio DVD and a Blue Ray all sold separately. Reed himself conducted the ceremonies for the remastering with help from mixer Scott Hull.
