A SXSW Digital Sampler, featuring 87 songs by 87 artists is currently available for free download on the Canadian Blast website. The music portion of the SXSW festival runs May 17-21 and features lots of Canadian artists such as Diamond Rings, Basia Bulat, Broken Social Scene, You Say Party! We Say Die!, Holy Fuck, The Besnard Lakes, Woodhands, Zeus, Fucked Up and many others.
