You'd think Halifax's Rich Aucoin was trying to break a world record. He's currently shopping his nearly finished new record (Public Publication) to record labels; an album that features around 500 different people performing on it. Listen to Push after the jump.
You’d think Halifax’s Rich Aucoin was trying to break a world record. He’s currently shopping his nearly finished new record (Public Publication) to record labels; an album that features around 500 different people performing on it. Don’t believe me? Here’s a little video evidence. I spent a little time today with his songs and got stuck on Push, a song I believe to be an homage to Daft Punk‘s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Featuring 40 drummers on the recording of this song, it rocks with robot vocals and killer baselines. Upcoming dates at ECMA’s, CMW, and a UK tour in May.

His liner notes are going to be massive.
