Leonard Cohen To Enter Songwriters Hall Of Fame

It has been announced that Leonard Cohen, author of such songs as "Chelsea Hotel" and "Hallelujah" will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year. Producer/composure David Foster and Earth, Wind & Fire's Maurice White, Verdine White and Philip Bailey are also being honored.
It has been announced that Leonard Cohen, author of such songs as “Chelsea Hotel” and “Hallelujah” will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year. Producer/composure David Foster and Earth, Wind & Fire’s Maurice White, Verdine White and Philip Bailey are also being honored. For Cohen this honor follows the lifetime achievement award he received at the Grammys. The ceremony, which has been celebrating songwriters since 1969, will be held in New York City on June 17.
