This morning in new music; Black Francis is set to release a new solo album, Neil Young will perform on the final episode of Conan's Tonight Show, and Radiohead joins Haitian benefit lineup.

Black Francis of the Pixies is set to release his new solo album, NonStopErotik, in early April. Since the Pixies’ breakup in 1993 Black Francis, born Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson, started putting out solo albums under the name Frank Black. Speaking to The Quietus about the new album Black said, “It all happened according to plan and we cut the initial tracks there in the wee hours over a few days, and then moved on to an equally haunted studio in London and Eric Drew Feldman joined us there and we finished the record in St. John’s Wood.” [TheQuietus]

Tonight legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Neil Young will perform on the final episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. This week O’Brien announced he accepted a exit deal and former  host Jay Leno would be taking over the show. Young has appeared on O’Brien’s shows several times and has even participated in one of “the year 2000” skits. [Spin]

As the need for Haitians continues to rise, so does the number of festivals and benefits with all proceeds going to relief funds. Radiohead have announced they will play a show at the Music Box Theatre in Los Angeles this Sunday and in New York a benefit has been announced with performances by Spoon, St. Vincent, Bon Iver and Zach Galifianakis. Up here CBC, Global and CTV will tonight be airing Canada For Haiti, an earthquake relief fundraiser with various musical acts including Raine Maida and the Barenaked Ladies. [Stereogum] [CBC]
