Fans of the Beatles and John Lennon will be able to add another book to the pile. Yoko Ono plans to write a memoir about her life with John Lennon and according to Yahoo UK also plans to address some myths about her part in the break-up of the band. She says it will be written in the next five years and would have done so sooner, but was worried of hurting the families of people close to the group. [Yahoo UK]

The actor who played Saruman from The Lord of the Rings movies, Christopher Lee, has provided the vocals for a metal concept album. It tells of the first Roman Emperor King Charlemange and is set for a March 15 release. [The Guardian]

Jarvis Cocker, former singer of English Alternative pop band Pulp, told Uncut magazine he’d like to try his hand on the dance floor as a contestant of the dance show, Strictly Come Dancing. During performances with Pulp and for his solo career, Cocker has always been animated on stage. He says watching the show reminds him of a ballroom in Blackpool he used to go to. [Uncut Magazine]
