La Roux Release Details on Second Album

Synth pop project La Roux have announced they plan to release a second album. Their self-titled debut was released in July of last year and was nominated for a Mercury Prize. Singer Elly Jackson told BBC 6Music that the next album will be less commercial.
“I’m certainly not going to try and make a mainstream record and I’m not going to try and make a non-mainstream record,” she said. “We’re going to make the record that me and Ben (Langmaid) want to make, but I have a feeling its going to be less mainstream.”
Ben and Elly start a tour of North American and Europe in February. Canadian dates are listed below.
Feb. 3 – Imperial, Quebec City
Feb. 5 – Metropolis, Montreal
Feb. 6 – Capital, Ottawa
