BREAKING: Professional athlete has questionable taste in music.

If there are truly two beloved groups of people in this world, it’s Parrotheads and mullet-headed jocks. WE KID! Everyone thinks both groups are largely garbage and should be imprisoned in outer space, but we needed a clunky way to remind you that Patrick Kane seems incapable of keeping the Stanley Cup away from a Jimmy Buffett concert.

For the third (THIRD!) time in Kane’s Cup-nabbing career, the Chicago Blackhawk has lugged this silver liquor receptacle to a Buffett performance. Wearing a comedy® parrot hat and a zany™ shirt, the American star lifted hockey’s coveted bit of hardware a bunch during Buffett’s rendition of “Volcano.” Did this Saturday spectacle feature the goofiest brand of dancing ever recorded on video? You better believe it. Kane also sports a man bun now, by the way.

Photographic evidence of the great Stanley/Buffett summit of 2015 also bubbled up online, reminding the world that Professor Cheeseburger in Paradise has a better relationship with hockey glory than the Toronto Maple Leafs. Odds are if the Buds ever win the Cup, it’ll pop up at a holographic Glass Tiger show in 2125.
