In this is happening whether you like it or not news, the controversial merger between Live Nation and Ticketmaster has been approved by the US Fed, however "major concessions" will have to be made on behalf of both organizations.
In this is happening whether you like it or not news, the controversial merger between Live Nation and Ticketmaster has been approved by the US Fed, however “major concessions” will have to be made on behalf of both organizations. Amongst the concessions, Ticketmaster will have to sell its ticketing company Paciolan Inc. Comcast has already put their intent to buy that company in writing. A representative from the justice department is quoted as saying “We expect that we will see (ticket prices) coming down”. Which, you know, a high school economics textbook might take issue with.
