Wolf Parade release video for "Yulia"

Wolf Parade have released a music video for the track “Yulia” off their latest record Expo 86. According to director Scott Coffey, “I wanted to create a kind of formal and slightly nostalgic vibe. At the same time, I wanted it to feel untethered to an exact era — not specifically in the past. I shot in Portland Oregon and a little in Romania and I was really inspired by Russian cinema and Communist propaganda posters.”

The video tells the story of a Russian cosmonaut who gets shot into space only to discover he was sent on a suicide mission and he nor his loved one at home can do nothing about it, except be with one another in spirit. Watch the video exclusively at Bravely Done.
