Toronto was awash with celebrities this past week for the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, and while an Owen Pallett sighting might not be very rare in these parts, seeing him on a small stage performing acoustically with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and Arcade Fire’s Régine Chassagne is a little more so.

At an invite-only Artists for Peace and Justice lunch, Eddie Vedder—in town not only for the premiere of Pearl Jam Twenty, but for the band’s double-header at the ACC—performed Bruce Springsteen’s “City of Ruins,” where Chassagne and Pallett joined.

Despite some audio troubles (and the repeated incoming texts on the phone that filmed it), this collab is a good match. You can watch the video above. [via Consequence of Sound]
