Spike Lee to make a 'hip-hop horror film' featuring Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, and more

Spike Lee has revealed his current project: he’s working on a hip-hop horror film called You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Kills You.
Taken from the name of a Notorious B.I.G. song of the same name, the movie is said to be “an action-packed genre film of two New York City homicide detectives that end up in the ‘high-stakes world of the Hip-Hop industry.'” It will feature Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane and Ed Lover and starring will be James McDaniel (NYPD Blue), Michael K. Williams (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire), Michael Mosley (Law & Order) and Nashawn Kearse (The Sopranos, Entourage.)
Lee is on board as producer; Michael A. Pinckney will direct. [via All Hip Hop]
