Listen to the new Handsome Furs album, 'Sound Kapital'

Next Tuesday, our favourite Montreal husband and wife team, the Handsome Furs, will release their excellent third album Sound Kapital, but you can listen to it now via Spin’s premiere.

Inspired once again by the group’s worldly travels, Sound Kapital mostly ditches the guitar for a keyboard-driven sound that doesn’t sacrifice the bangers; “Repatriated” in particular stands out not only for its drop-everything-and-dance vibe, but for its inspiring lyrics about international underground music scenes thriving despite oppressive governments or otherwise adverse conditions.
