This is horrible.

Last week, Philadelphia rapper and the undisputed biggest beef loser of 2015, Meek Mill, decided to post a series of videos to Instagram, in which a panhandler asks him for money. You’d think a fairly successful rapper would be able to spare some change without a fuss, particularly when recording the whole thing for Instagram Live, but I guess that’s not Meek’s style: instead, he decided to challenge the man to do pushups to earn his money.

“Give me ten pushups, and I’m going to give you $20 right now,” Meek says. “We ain’t giving out no free money.” Worth noting the man doubles down on Meek’s challenge and decides to do 20 instead of 10.

Of course, reaction to the insensitive video was swift and negative:

Meek did have some supporters on side, although I find this person’s logic a little bit faulty:

Could this is all be a stealth PR stunt to drum up cheap heat for Drake and Meek’s boxing match? I sure hope so, because otherwise that means Meek Mill’s kind of a shitty dude.
