The infamous black BMW sedan is officially up for grabs, provided you've got the cash.

Now Tupac fans have the opportunity to enjoy the late rapper’s forthcoming biopic in true, if macabre, style: the BMW Tupac was fatally shot in is now officially for sale, with an asking price of only $1.5 million.

Back in September 1996, the black 750iL BMW was being driven by Suge Knight with Tupac riding shotgun as they were driving in Las Vegas, when a hail of bullets from a white sedan that had pulled up alongside the vehicle struck both Knight and Tupac. Tupac died later the next day in hospital, but not before delivering his infamous final words.

Following Tupac’s death, the car was impounded by the Las Vegas Police Department and later auctioned off, eventually racking up more than 90k miles. After changing hands a few times, the car was purchased by an auction house, but is being sold at the firm, mil-and-a-half rate instead of being auctioned off once again. The car’s been fully restored following the shooting and its years of disuse, but indentations from bullet holes are reportedly still visible on the inside door panel.

Check out more pics of the car here, and start saving up if you plan to make the purchase. Of course, if the rumours are true that Tupac’s still alive, be prepared to compete with a mysterious, bandana’d figure for the privilege of driving away in the hip-hop world’s most famous vehicle here.
