Latest Apple hoax has people drilling into their iPhone 7s

In their desperation for a headphone jack, some of the Apple faithful take matters into their own hands.
You know what they say: a fool and his expensive smartphone are soon parted, thanks to prank viral videos. Well, they should say that, anyway.
Always on point on the paradigm-shifting front, Apple’s latest innovation (well, besides their new, disruptive paper bag technology) is doing away with the audio jack completely on the new iPhone 7. For some reason, a hefty segment of consumers aren’t too happy that Apple’s pivoting away from the humble aux jack that’s been a perennial source of tangled cords and annoyance since time immemorial.
Some Apple customers are so desperate for the return of the jack that they’re willing to drill holes into their new $900 tech product after seeing a viral video claiming this would restore the 3.5mm hole we all know and love.
Needless to say, please do not listen to TechRax, unlike these people:
Sure, most of the people who claimed this ruined their phone are probably trolling to try and fool others, but I bet more than a few are genuine cries of despair. This isn’t the first time TechRax has done this, either. Previously, he’s tricked consumers into thinking iOS updates would allow them to charge their phone in the microwave, or submerge it underwater.
Hopefully these brainiacs have the good sense to take the L and never, ever admit it to anyone. “Oh, yeah, the new iPhone, I didn’t like it… I traded it in for a Galaxy.”
Well…someone might believe that. If all else fails, engage Hulk Protocol.
