Poppa Drake has played drums for a handful of music luminaries over the years, including Jerry Lee Lewis.

For most people, the news that their dad is set to release an album full of classic R&B jams would be greeted with horror and some hushed conversations about Dad’s emotional state and bank account, but when you’re Drake, you can probably rest a lot easier.

Dennis Graham, Instagram don and the father of the world’s most popular Aubrey, is getting ready to release his own solo R&B album. Even putting aside his (slightly) more famous offspring, it’s not like Dennis doesn’t have the musical pedigree: the elder Graham has played drums for a smorgasbord of U.S. music luminaries over the years, including Jerry Lee Lewis.

The forthcoming album is being produced by Jamie Iovine, the son of the famous, women-helping Jimmy. Dennis has already shared a collaborative track with Tanya Lee called “Kinda Crazy”:

Well that’s very… competent, even if it does sound like the soundtrack to a shampoo commercial.

There’s no word yet on the official release date for the album, but for more Drake’s dad action until the fateful day, check out the recent music video from the Arkells:
