Like they've been doing for nearly two decades, Dillinger Escape Plan made the best of a bad situation.

Dillinger Escape Plan have always been known for their unpredictable live shows, but fans at the Gwar-B-Q in Virginia this past weekend were in for something even the most seasoned of DEP veterans couldn’t have expected.

When singer Greg Puciato’s flight was cancelled, the band opted to continue on without him. Their solution? A few eager fans on vocals and their friend, Bruce Lamont, who added saxophone parts we didn’t know we needed to a number of tracks.

If you missed the news earlier this month, Dillinger Escape Plan will release their new album, Disassociation, on October 14th. Then they’ll tour it. And then they’ll break up.

Fuck, we’re going to miss them. [h/t Lambgoat]
