Tokyo Police Club perform the same song for 12 hours straight

As far as stunts go, Tokyo Police Club’s latest was certainly a test of endurance.

Inspired by a Nuit Blanche event organized by former AUX editors with a 12-hour performance of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, the Newmarket-born band performed what they dubbed “The Great PCH Marathon” at a Toronto art gallery, running through a single song for 12 consecutive hours.

Performing the song “PCH” 200+ times, the group marathoned at Toronto’s Rally Gallery yesterday, performing with a handful of friends and fans with a charitable bent; while free, they were encouraging curious onlookers (and participants) to donate to the Canadian Red Cross.

And, since we live in the age of Instagram and Periscope, everything was well documented:
