'These motherf***ers be sweating us at the f***ing border and they got an alley where they pass out needles for people to do heroin at.'

It can’t really come as a surprise that Snoop Dogg’s border crossings into Canada tend to be lengthy ones, given his criminal record – except to Snoop himself, that is. He’s complained about it before, but in a recent Instagram video on the topic, he took the country to task and attempted to point out the great injustice of the situation using a comparison you won’t believe.

If you haven’t already guessed, Snoop is referring to Vancouver’s needle exchange program. Designed to lower the number of publicly discarded needles and reduce the spread of HIV and other infections, the program does have a supervised injection site on Hasting Street East to increase its effectiveness and prevent overdoses.

In Snoop’s eyes, though, this seems to support his theory that Canada and/or its border officials have it out for him since, as he succinctly put it: “these motherfuckers be sweating us at the fucking border and they got an alley where they pass out needles for people to do heroin at.”

In light of this, what does the D-O-Double-G think should happen? “Y’all need to raise up off me, Canada,” was his authoritative conclusion. “Ya’ll need to just walk me through and stop taking me back into that fucking customs office.”

I dunno, Snoop. I’m not sure a program which is scientifically proven to have beneficial health and societal effects negates your felony drug and handgun possession convictions. Sadly, it sounds like Snoop Lion has already judged our nation and found it wanting, as evidenced by his judgemental-grandpa-intoned video closer: “This is terrible.”
