Drake a.k.a. “the most successful rapper 35 and under” a.k.a. “first take Drake” has finally dropped his long-awaited album VIEWS along with a last-minute title change (it’s no longer From the 6). The album is available to stream and download now exclusively through Apple Music.

The studio sequel to 2013’s Nothing Was The Same follows the Toronto MC’s mixtapes If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and the Future tag-team What A Time To Be Alive. The 20 songs of VIEWS include collaborations with Rihanna, Wizkid, Pimp C, and PARTYNEXTDOOR, and a production credit for Kanye West, though his verse on the previous version of “Pop Style” was left on the cutting room floor.

However, that doesn’t mean that Drake and Kanye won’t be working together in the future, despite their allegiances to Apple and Tidal, respectively. In an hour-long interview Zane Lowe for Apple’s OVO Sound Radio, the 6 God made the following comment:

“We had plans. We were supposed to do a mixtape together or an album together. Maybe we’ll get that done.”

Uproxx notes that Kanye made similar comments about Drake following their collaborative song “Wolves” in a 2015 interview with The Breakfast Club: “The ‘Wolves’ song came from a conversation that me and Drake had, when we was gonna do an album together, and the album was called Wolves. We said we was gonna do it. He was sending beats back and forth.”

Listen to Drake’s full interview with Zane Lowe below, which also continues his rivalry with Kanye about the size of their swimming pools at their neighbouring homes in Los Angeles. Apparently Drake’s pool is the size of the Playboy mansion.
