Tag team your bong and watch Snoop Dogg's WWE Hall of Fame induction on April 2nd.

Calvin Broadus/Snoop Dogg/Brian Fellows 2.0 already has both hip-hop and pop culture at large in a relentless Sharpshooter, so it’s no surprise that one of the last remaining institutions that hasn’t bowed down and kissed the ring of the Doggfather is now rectifying its omission.

TL;DR: That’s right, Snoop’s being inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Why, you ask? What could the rapper have done to deserve such a honour, besides serving as an inspiration to the WWE’s current stable of bong tag teamers

Well, Snoop’s hosted everyone’s favourite theatre of the interred on a number of occasions, most notably serving as Master of Ceremonies for Wrestlemania XXIV in Orlando, an event which saw something called a “Lumberjill match” between two Divas. He also hosted an episode of RAW in 2009, where he heroically prevented the lovable Hornswoggle from taking a beating at the hands of the dastardly Chavo Guerrero. If that doesn’t scream “Hall of Fame material” to you, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Also: Snoop is first cousins with WWE superstar/enormous nerd Sasha Banks, and helped her develop her ring persona. “I think you should be… hmmm… let me think… constantly smoking weed?” “Snoop, that’s the eighth time you’ve suggested that!”

Snoop will be inducted into the WWE HoF during the, get this, WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, live on the WWE Network this Saturday. So, start grappling with your DVR now.
