Don't look back in anger (at the boatload of drugs you abused).

Did you like the Amy Winehouse documentary but think it could use thicker eyebrows and someone named Bonehead popping onscreen every now and again? Not to worry! Such a thing is on the way in the form of a brand new doc looking at Manchester rock titans Oasis.

News that such a project is a go isn’t brand new, but Noel Gallagher (who you would imagine would be in the know) has provided some fresh details to British GQ about what to expect onscreen. Or, expect not to find onscreen.

“We have all this footage from behind the scenes leading up to the gigs, most of which can’t be used as there’s just monstrous drug taking.”

You’d assume they’d be more concerned about all the unusable Standing on the Shoulders of Giants footage because that album is terrible, but here we are.

Like 2015’s Amy, the film will feature “unprecedented” access to archival material and key players in the Oasis story. Both Noel and Liam Gallagher are participants in the documentary so it might just be the most quotable film of whatever year it in ends up debuting in. (IMDB is claiming 2016.)
