Yet another easily preventable Hilary Duff-based face-eating tragedy.

How’s your face doing? Has someone sunk their fangs into it thanks to an argument over Hilary Duff? If your answer to that question is “wait wha–” you’re doing way better than Ethan Lester at the moment.

According to the Appalachian News-Express, a major argument broke out between Ethan and his wife Brandi over whether or not the Duffster (non-Haylie division) was featured in a TV commercial. Ethan thought the Lizzie McGuire star was in the ad, his wife didn’t, and things escalated to the point where Brandi bit her husband in the face over his claim of Duffdom. Brandi’s face-biting counter-argument to Ethan’s spokesperson classification resulted in police charging the Kentucky woman with domestic abuse and fourth degree domestic violence.

At the moment, it’s still unclear what advertisement the couple was arguing about and whether or not it was really Hilary Duff featured.

“Me and my wife are on edge, as most families are around the holidays,” said Ethan when chatting with local station WYMT. “I’m unemployed at the moment. I guess it just took one simple misunderstanding.”

Ethan and Brandi Lester are currently barred from making contact with one another until March.
