The influential post-hardcore icons are back, back again.

Time to break your skinny jeans back in: post-hardcore heroes At the Drive-In are officially getting back together. The band’s official website reveals a slew of live dates taking the influential band around North America and Europe starting in March, as well as a teaser of a new song.

Since ATDI’s original break-up in 2001, the members have been involved in a non-stop cavalcade of projects, including Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala’s proggy Mars Volta, who announced their break-up in 2013. Jim Ward and Tony Hajjar’s more straightforward alt-rock project Sparta hasn’t been heard from since releasing a new song in 2012 and announcing they were headed into the studio to work on a fourth album.

Though they originally reunited for a few festival dates in 2012, ATDI and Mars Volta guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez said back in 2013 that “playing those songs, I thought, ‘Here’s a person at the time that I don’t relate to anymore.’ He didn’t care about his life and was doing drugs and was really disconnected from the world and a whole lot of other personal stuff that I won’t get into. If I give myself to that, I can feel the psychological effects of that personality in the same way that an actor can say it wasn’t healthy to live in that role so long or bring that role home every night.”

Well, let’s hope he doesn’t still feel that way.
