Rdio has become the first casualty in the great Streaming Wars.

Last month, beloved streaming platform Rdio filed for bankruptcy and sold “key assets” to Pandora. At the time, Rdio issued a statement saying that service would continue uninterrupted for the time being, until the time came to end the service in all existing markets.

Well, the mournful day has finally come, and Rdio has ceased operation entirely. The company issued a final farewell message to its userbase, and, like any good tech company should, Rdio has provided personal listening statistics for any now-former user who visits the farewell page while logged in, including their sign-up date, most played track and album, and total streaming time. Rdio is also providing a metadata export option, so you can take all your cleverly-titled playlist data (“Drakin’ the Leaves”? The Glass Minaj-ery”?) with you to the new streaming platform of your choice (all three of them).

The company has also provided stats for its entire lifetime: globally, the first user signed up for Rdio in August 2010, the first song ever streamed on Rdio was Katy Perry’s “California Gurls”, and Nothing Was The Same by homeland hero Drake was the most streamed album. Go Aubrey!

As for the acquirer of those “key” Rdio assets, Pandora says it will be providing an “expanded listening experience” in the new year. Hopefully that includes some kind of ranking system for best playlist title puns.
