This Miley Cyrus lookalike gets mobbed by fans

California’s Mardee Shackleford was born with a blessing and a curse: She looks eerily similar to Miley Cyrus. The 21-year-old bears such a striking resemblance to the celebrity wrecking ball that she needs security guards to protect her from fans.

The Daily Mail shared Shackleford’s story of being spotted for her Hannah Montana similarities at age 14, then seeing notices go into overdrive when she worked as a waitress with a pixie cut at 17. Tell your parents that sticking your tongue out in photos can pay, as she also took home $2,500 at a lookalike competition.

“Several times I have been sitting in traffic and people have slid open the back door of their car and kids will start yelling, ‘Miley!’” Shackleford says. Sometimes it feels like I am actually famous or a celebrity, just on a really small scale. It’s been really fun for me.”

When the doppelganger attended a Miley concert last year, she was mobbed by fans and even pulled out of the crowd by Billy Ray Cyrus to snap a pic. Maybe next time she should try going undercover.
